Hello, I’m Lauren. I’m 22 and have just finished a Creative Writing degree at York St John University. I’ve been thinking about writing book reviews and blogging for some time, and now that I’ve completed my degree there’s no better time to get started.

 

Reading is my first hobby, it’s the one that started it all. In between books and writing, I have a few other interests that keep me entertained; I enjoy period dramas and history, walks across the Yorkshire Dales and fossil hunting along the Whitby coast, and the occasional cross stitch pattern. I swear I really am 22!

 

When it comes to reading I’m open to trying new genres, as long as it’s interesting and keeps me absorbed, anything goes. What I tend to read a lot of are Historic Fiction, Fantasy (all sub-genres) and Young Adult.
