Hey there, my name is Matt. I’m 21 years old and currently escaping adulthood by reading. I have just finished a Creative Writing degree at York St John University, so it’s time to leave the safety net and straight into the boiling pan of life.

When I’m not reading or writing I tend to do a mixture of things. Recently, my new hobby has been baking - the kitchen looks like a disaster zone, but hey, I made some cookies and they didn’t burn (the time round.) When I’m not destroying the kitchen I can be found drawing, binge watching YouTube videos – hauls are my new addiction, watching people buy clothes is fun, right? – movies (horror is my go to) gaming, and swimming. I love doing anything active, as long as it’s not riding a bike because I’m 21 years old and I can’t do that.

My book preference is almost none existent, I basically read anything that grabs me, be it fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, thriller, horror, young adult, etc. If the synopsis of the book grabs my attention then I’ll give it a go. I’m always looking for a story that is interesting and captures my attention.
